This was a 10.15-mile hike up to Norse Peak in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest.

I planned to hike the Dry Creek Trail from the north end of Lake Cushman but the gap in the bridge prevented that from happening. Instead, I did the 2.9-mile hike up to Mount Ellinor in the Olympic National Forest. Discovery Park is a 534-acre natural area park operated by the Seattle Parks and Recreation. It is the largest city park in Seattle, and occupies most of the former Fort Lawton site. Spent the weekend in Ocean Shores, WA walking the beaches and rode the 16-mile loop around the peninsula. A quick visit to Christine Falls in Mount Rainier National Park. |
